10 round mags for ristricted rifles

I can't believe that in 2010 people at still discovering this? From 2007??? Man. I was the first civilian user with them (the 223 ones), and did the review for these magazines for the CSSA magazine with the RCMP classification in that issue as well. I just find it hard to believe that AR users (who are under constant scrutiny) are 3 years or more behind the times. I guess this is how the powers that be get things past us. They change a law and three years down the line people are asking "when did this happen, what can we do to stop it?". NOTHING, once something has occurred it is next to impossible to undo it. Look at the trouble with registration from Bill-C68, and we still don't know if all these years later it will ever go away.

People die and people are born. Called life :)

With that you have new people that need to be educated on such things. I myself, just got my first AR only 6 months ago. Things that might be a no-brainer to some.... are new to me..... and I am sure to others.

I think it is up to all you "old timers" to help out the "young bucks" so we don't make the same mistakes you guys did. :p

Right. What do we do when you won't listen?

Iunno, what did all of our fathers do, when we didn't listen?

Beat us!

Kidding

But just giving up because "we" don't listen is just as bad as you voting FOR the thing you are against. If you talk to ten people and only one listens..... it could be that one person that makes a difference!

thanks evryone

well I knew trhe answer wouldn't be simple but I am satified with the answers I receaved I now know that they are available and I now know hwere to get them lol awsome now I am only waiting for my AR to show up any day now litterally.

on another non-gun forum i'm a member at when a question is asked for the millionth time the common response is: "search function, jong!"

would that be an infractionable offence here? (just asking as i had my first infraction recently due my disparagement of BC ferry drivers)...

I have heard a rumor that ten round mags are now available legally the reason being that a handgun can have ten rounds then an AR or other ristricted rifles should be the same if this is true is only be pronvince or all of canada?

LAR 15 mags, has to say LAR 15 on the side.

You can get 10 round mags but Ive heard rumor of eventually getting 10/30 round mags...which I want for the "look".

These guys got em

This is the "ruling" on the LAR 15 mags being ok

The word of the law uses the phrase "designed for," therefore because the LAR-15 mags were "designed for" a pistol, they only have to be pinned to 10. They just happen to also work in AR-15's, a nice loop hole. The same is also true for that the 10 round mags from the AIA Enfields that also happen to work in M-14s.

Who sells the AIA enfield 10 rds?

And that confirms info we had years ago, that you wouldn't believe when it was told to you.

Good work.

I dont either. I always phone the RCMP and record their answer to CD or email them and keep the hard copy.

They cant say boo about anything if youve got them with hard copies :b

I remember that they made a pump action .223 by reminton that accepted ar mags. because teh legal says that the mag cap is only for semi auto could i get the 50round drums for this?

and if so would i be able to inter change them from my pump to my semi?

No. Remington advertised that the 7615 used AR magazines, therefore any magazine that fits the 7615 is an AR magazine. But you can use the 10 rd. LAR mags in the Remington.

Ten rd AR pistol mags have been around for a while now, and much to my amazement there has not been any massacres with AR's in Canada

I am amazed to read this and find out that so many people did not know this. When this happened ,everyone were using them at the range immediatly. The word spreads quick too! Like "who's that guy blasting off all those rounds" and "those are legal"
Everywhere you look they sell these mags and does anyone even know or has seen a LAR-15 pistol, I mean for the amount of mags for sale would'nt you be thinking "wow these must be real popular pistols, I should check one out" only to later find that everyone is buying them for their rifles.
I suspect there is going to be a lot more of these selling now.
