10 shots, 185gr Juggernauts at 600yds, 6.147", think I can get it down to 5" If I concentrate, there is tricky wind shift between 500yds and 600yds at my range so hard (for me at least) to shrink the horizontal spread.

I'll take that action Big Bear, Let me know when youre heading up again. I dont have a key for the gate. hahaha!! I think the last time out I was doing something similar as your target above, but that was on a day when the snow and fog was obscuring the targets. Hard day to shoot. And I am assuming I am looking at the range in CR. tricky range for sure.

3.14 15 shot group on the same range, you need to make the challenge a bit harder and I'll play again

PM me, hosting a 2 day 600 yard shoot there in september.........

Impressive shooting, you are obviously in a different league than me. I can't reload good enough much less shoot well enough to get groups like that. I would guess you have to sort bullets by weight , and neck turn and all that good stuff. I'm willing to learn better shooting skills, just can't excited (yet) about precision reloading. september shoot sounds interesting as long as it doesn't interfere with my hunting:cheers:

Big Bear,
Yodave and myself are always up on hitting CR. If you ever want to come out and play message us. Pretty sure that we can all bring our groups down to sub MOA. Your target looks more like wind deflection than anything.. All your shots seem faily horizontal and not much in vertical deflection.. So thats good. No reason you couldn't put them all in the red.

Dave made a deal with the devil.. he will always shoot sub moa, but hes got some knowledge and strong jaw muscles.

Your vertical is excellent! Just have to dope the wind a little better!

Was out with my AI AT in 6 Creed a couple nights ago. This was 10 shots at 530 yards, the distance my target has to be at to work with my hills.
The rifle. Dig my fancy rest....

The range. The 530 yard target is right in the middle through the small cut in the trees. My 100 yard target on the right, 12" gong on the left at 300 yards, tree line is about 400.

As seen through the scope.

And the results. The "head" on this target is 6x6 inches. The 1 shot high and 1 shot low was me. The other 8 are about 2 inches for vertical and the horizontal is simply a wind report.
Ammo specs, Hornady brass, 108gr Berger Match Thick, over 41.gr of H100V seated to 2.71" Sighted in at 300, exactly 5 MOA drop at 530 yards.

Not the best shooting I've done with it by a shot but not bad for a windy day and fluffing a couple shots.

Big Bear have you ever tried that same practice at 600 with the muzzle brake removed from your barrel?

Because erosion and carbon on the brake 'can' effect your grouping at long ranges ... although your second target is certainly very good
