I'm just getting started handloading for it. Going to cook up a few test loads tonight and maybe shoot it tomorrow. I took it out a couple of weeks ago and put $100 through it. Seems to work OK but doesn't appear regulated for the Norma ammo. probably a good thing too, because that sh*t is expensive - $230 a box...and there's only 10 of them in a box!

Boomer - Chifuti is Andrew Dawson and Paul Smith's outfit. Met them at the SCI show last year and had a great chat with them. Dropped the deposit before I flew home.

Jeff - the rifle in question is a Merkel 140AE that followed me home from TradeEx. Funny, I've never been in TradeEx, but the rifle found me anyways. Hopefully the handloads work out tomorrow...or whenever the weather smartens up.

On the upside, it looks like my German friend likes 105gr of IMR 4831 and 500gr Woodleighs which makes 'em run about 2150FPS. Time to go out and shoot a 4 shot group to confirm - and make sure that my dental work is cemented in tight!
