I have a $100 gift certificate for Bass Pro. If anyone doesn't know this, you can get $25 gift certs with 40,000 petro points at Petro Canada. Does anyone know if the Vaughan store sells reloading supplies? By looking at the website it doesn't look like it but I thought someone told me they did. I need primers, bullets and powder. I am going to be in near Vaughan tomorrow and am itching to use the gift certificates. What else can I get for $100 dollars at Bass Pro? :p

Funny you asked that i called up there and asked the guy in the gunshop if they sold primers and he replyed WE DON'T SELL THAT CRAP good bye

@@#$$!%@!$@!%^ !!!! I wasted all my points by buying stipid lottery tickets... I had over 120,000.... :slap:

Well I went there today and asked about the reloading supplies anyway. The guy was actually nice about it. He said they don't sell any reloading stuff except some things for muzzle loaders and that it is the city's fault. He thought it was stupid. I have to go back tomorrow because I ended up buying a Buttler Creek sling which I like and will keep, but I bought a Redhead scope for my 10/22 that I was not impressed with and have to return. I know it was only 59.99 but the Bushnell rimfire scopes are much better. My 10/22 is a plain Jane stainless with a black stock and I think I am going to keep it that way. I just wanted a basic rimfire scope to plink with but the rings that came with the Redhead were horrible even for a rimfire. The eye relief was much worse than the Bushnell Sportsman which is five dollars less.

Did you ask them for a powder? They had some under the counter for handguns.
Good Luck.

I guess the guy either didn't know they had powder or he was selective on who he wanted to sell it to? I did ask and the guy at the gun counter if they sold powder, primers or bullets for handguns and he said no. I ended up buying another sling and a bunch of 3" Remington Slugger 12 gauge rifled slugs. 1875 fps...crazy. Only four dollars and change per 5 shells. Maybe I'll take a deer with one.

If this is what the guy at the gun shop told you, I call tomorow morning ask to speak to the General Manager and complain, and complain loudly, very loudly.
