100 gr. 257 TSX and the 25-06

What is your pet 25-06 load using Barnes .257 dia. 100 grain TSX and IMR 4831 propellant? Switching over from 4350, looking for a starting point.
Curious why you are switching from IMR4350? I've had great success with IMR4350 and the 100gr TTSX as well as the 110gr Accubond in my 25-06.

I use RL-17 in my 25-06 AI, and it's much more like 4350. I've directly compared IMR 4831 and RL-17 in other cartridges (30-06, 300 winmag) and the RL-17 has always given me more velocity with at least the same accuracy.

I'm not a big fan of IMR 4831 actually, as I've tried it in about a half dozen cartridges, and it very often gets me about 200 fps LESS than the reloading manuals suggest, even when using magnum primers in non-magnums, and even with maximum powder charges. The only cartridges that I got around advertised performance from IMR 4831 from were the .270 win and .300 win mag. Off the top of my head I can say it basically sucked in 30-06, 303 British and .375 RUM.

Good question. No IMR 4350 to be found anywhere within 100 miles of my home. Cabelas, Wholesale...nada! I have several pounds of IMR 4831 under my loading bench thus thought I'd put a load together with it for whitetail. Furter as Jordan Smith stated I have had very good results shooting 53.0 grains/4350/100TSX.
