todbartell......................have you tried the 100 grain TSX in your .25-.284 yet........and if so what did you use for a load?

Yes I could have PM'd you but this will get more exposure for the cartridge.:D

I too would like some feedback on the TSX... I am using the 110 accubonds right now. But more speed is the name of the game with long range varmint hunting.

nope, never did try the 100 TSX, that's why I still have a full box of 50 of them as an add-in with my 25-284 for sale :D

once I got my hands on some 110 gr. Accubonds, I tried them and developed a good load for hunting, and stuck with them.

I did try the 100 gr. XLC, and it shot well @ 3275 fps. H4831 or H1000 is the powder of choice for me.

I know the 100 gr. TSX would kill well, as I've loaded them for 2 years for my friend in his 25-06 @ 3280 fps, and they have proven great killers on mulies, whitetails, sheep, caribou, and even a young bull moose!

I've used 75gr X in .257 on Whitetail and boar. They performed very well, so I suspect the 100gr would be just fine for a wide range of game.

both with .257" 100gr. TSX's, out of my 25'06 at 3400fps, first deer, was in 2004 at 80 yds.
Second Deer was 2005, 235yds.
They work great. BTW
