The product doesn't really exist yet. They have a small number of working prototypes... still doing the testing on them. They are months away from bringing this to market, but we have spoken to them about it and agreed to import them into Canada if they can work out the production issues.
Don't ask me about pricing yet... they are throwing suggested US retail prices around ($249 to $299) but I don't think they really have that firmed up themselves yet... and they can't give us any firm wholesale costs yet so we can't even guess at Canadian pricing at this point.
The gun is an alloy frame, with an optional stainless version and a titanium version planned.
All the parts from your Glock frame drop into this new alloy frame. There are some nice design improvements. One is the gun will come with several different backstrap inserts to allow you to customize the grip to your hand (sort of like the Walther did).
One of the other huge differences was the trigger feel... because the trigger and other components are in a metal frame there is no spring or bounce to the trigger pull whatsoever... extremely crisp... very nice actually... and it was a standard Glock 5.5 that I was testing.
There will be colours (another interesting feature).
We hope to have more info in the next couple months.
Mark.
