First target shot yesterday with a CZ 452 American I just purchased. Rifle is wearing a Weaver T-36 scope, ammo was SK Standard Plus, 10 shot group. Shot off of a Caldwell front rest and a rear bag. BTW it says 100 yds. on the target but I forgot this range is 100 meters.

The rifle, sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Todays target shot with an Anschutz 54 Match action and a Lilja barrel with tuner, Leupold Competition 45X45 scope, the rest is custom built. Ammo used was Eley Tenex and a 10 shot group. Overall group came in at .708" with the 2 called flyers (large bore rifles going off on both sides of me, I know it's a poor excuse:D) Group size without the flyers measured .386". This target should also say at 100 meters

The rifle, it's going to look different shortly wearing a McMillan BR50 stock on its way from North Shore Barrels

I'm hoping to shrink the CZ groups by 1/2 with the installation of a Yodave trigger kit which is on its way along with a new striker spring. The group measures just under 1 MOA at .923"

The CZ has had nothing done to it and the trigger pull is gawd awful ( worse than a stock 10/22:D) I had a CZ 452 Varmint with a Yodave kit installed and it was great. I have already ordered a Yodave kit for this one along with a new striker spring.
The rest for the Anschutz is a one of custom built and weighs about 35 lbs. both front and rear are adjustable for windage and elevation. I'll be changing the rear stock block when the McMillan stock arrives so that it fits correctly to the stock.

Yesterday the temperature warmed up to 0' so I figured I head off to the range for a little challenge ... I wanted to see what my Savage MkII 22lr could pull off at 200 yards. I mounted my 6-24x50 Sightron and off I went.

The conditions were actually quite windy and I could see the tops of trees swaying. I tried my best to shoot when the wind calmed down but even then some poorly timed wind gusts swept a few shots right off the paper.

These are my two groups at 100 yards, one bullet went missing in the wind.

And for 200 yards.

The random holes on the paper were sighters. I was pretty surprised when I finally figured out how much drop a 22Lr has from 100 yards to 200 yards.

I'm going to try again on a calmer day.
