100 rounds at 100 yards.....

The DPMS trigger was gritty at the start, but after 500 rounds, id'e break in rather smootly, good shooting rifle with no malfunctions so far, only flaw was to sand down the rivet that limit the mag capacity, would not fall free, all good now, this is my learning rifle so ugly doesnt bother me, what can you expect from an 1100.00 AR-10...
Next week i will start with my Armalite AR-10T 20 inch HBAR SS+ S&B 5X25X56 PMll P4LF but this one will only see handloads as i expect it to be an accuracy rifle ( read .5 to MOA of the bat).... JP.

I'm very disappointed, that has to be about a 4.5 to 5 inch group there, I know you can do better than that. ;)

Can't wait to see the next attempt :p

Let's make 100 rounds the new standard for accuracy shooting, what does 5 rounds really prove?

I think in your next 100 round group firing you should paint a picture......in lead :) A rendition of the Mola Lisa otta do

Nice post Caramel. You nearly emptied the wax paper Battle pack lol.

If you did mean radius accuracy calculation on that 100 rounds,.. it looks like really good MOA for ball762. I'm betting it's as good as most any NATO ball ammo, especially the IvI I've put through FN's and PH1200's( C-3 wantabbe)

AE will not better the Nork and if you chrony'd it you would have seen the Standard deviation on it is really good. Nork 762 costs around .050 per round( I pay .49 on 125 round packs) and equals 5000dollars for every 10,000rounds. AE = .090-1.00 per round so 9,000-10,000dollars. You saved 4,000-5,000 minus your $350 dollar barrel, but then again after 10,000 rounds of AE you'd be 90% as worn and beyond good acuracy probably so that's moot as well.

Keep the tes'st coming, and it would be nice to see other bulk FMJ's compared side by side through that accurate test rifle, though I know you wanted to shoot only bi metal in it. Cheers RTS.
