The weather forecast indicated that the calm conditions that have been around for a few days would end after today. After my last entry I didn't think I would be making another, but the improvement was sufficient to probably justify it.
The Midas + lot that I used for the target below was one that I hadn't tried at 100 with my 1973-made 1411, but since it wasn't stellar in my other rifle, I wasn't expecting particularly good performance. I was pleasantly surprised.

The groups were .557" (top) and .806" and .560" left and right respectively on the bottom.
The three ten-shot group average is .641".



The rifle is a 1973-made 1411 with an Anschutz BR 50 stock -- a 1411 BR 50. The scope is a Sightron Big Sky SIIB 36X.

As a final observation, four of the nine groups I shot today with this lot of M+ were under .600". I think it's possible that, with the right ammo, someone following this thread can shoot a target that has a sub-.6" three ten-shot group average. Unfortunately, I have very little of this lot left.
