100 zone Alberta hunters.

I finally get to use my crossbow in bow season this year too! Small victory.:D

Which area in Alberta does it have that? Just looking in the regs, it does not allow crossbow in the archery season for any of the WMUs series.....from what I read...it can only be used in the General season....

Cheers

Jeff

From the "Important Changes"
A primitive weapons season has been created in WMUs 150, 151, 162, 163, 200, 234, 236, 256 and 500. This will allow the use of shotguns, muzzleloaders, cross-bow and bow & arrow during an open season for white-tailed deer and mule deer from October 15-31. Archery hunters under the authority of their White-tailed Deer Licence or Mule Deer licence can hunt during the primitive weapon season.
I guess it's not technically archery season, but I'm still happy!

Don't know if this has been mentioned, Wednesdays are now open for big game hunting.

Yes, one more day will make the 5-hour drive a bit easier to justify. Nice to see Sunday hunting in most zones and an extra day in the 100s. Should allow more people to get a few extra days in the field.
