1000 rounds through a glock 19

Came across this video my opinion from shooting glocks for the last 30 years they are as reliable as anything else but not completely infallible.

Meh, iraqveteran8888 melted a glock on youtube with a giggle switch long ago.

Most people who own a handgun wont put 1000 rounds through it in their lifetime, let alone in 20 mins.

Everyone of those failures looked like they were from ####ty aftermarket magazines.

Lots of Glocks over the 50K mark still chugging along.

With the cost of ammo now a days, this was an expensive 20 mins.

I possessed a 2nd gen Glock 22 .40 S&W for about 15 years that had ~ 35K rounds thru it over that time without one fail to feed, fire, extract or eject.

IMHO, no handgun is infallible, but that right there is a pretty darn good track record.

Saw a James Yeager video where they did a rapid fire test with a 19gen3 , it was only 700-800 rounds, IIRC , just remember that the guide rod melted, but the gun kept running , that was kind cool .
