"1000 Yard Steel Challenge" Match - RCMI - 22 June @ CFB Borden

Round Count - 30 (Bring extra for reshoots / shoot offs)
- 4 Stages, shot with a shooting Partner who will spot and call your hits, and then you change over.
- 5th Stage - shoot off for the top 5 scoring Competitors
Top 3 Winners receive free BBQ.
- This match is in its 2nd year.
Consider it a skill match with bragging rights, and a social long range event, with a BBQ afterwards.
- For those that are interested, we will be going for a BBQ Social in Angus very near CFB Borden, after the Match. (BBQ cost not included).
- RCMI is allowing Non-Members to attend at no extra cost.
You must be a Member of the ORA, OR have a CCFR or CSSA Membership that is current.
- 8 am - Meet at the Gate to Mons Range, Range Road.
If you miss the Match & Safety Briefing you will not be shooting / no refunds.
- 2pm approx. all going smooth we will be packing up and head to the BBQ after March out.
What you Need to attend:
- Rifle + ammo that are safe and capable of shooting 1 MOA or less.
- Dope for 1000 yards. (If you can't hit the targets, you will be pulled from the match).
- CFB Borden has caliber restrictions on Mons Range.
You must use the following calibers (w/ bullet weights if listed).
.223 Remington
.243 (6mm) Winchester
.250 Savage
.260 Remington
.270 Winchester
6.5 MM Creedmoor
6.5 MM x 55 (100g, 120g, 140g)
7MM ( .284) (140-175g)
.308 (7.62 MM X 51) 150, 155, 168 gr
- Rifle Scope preferably a minimum 25 x magnification in MIL or MOA
- Bi-Pod and Rear Bag (No F Class Rests)
- Spotting Scope in 30 to 60 x Magnification range & Tripod
You can share a Spotting Scope with your shooting Partner.
Please bring:
- Sun Hat / Sunscreen
- Water / Fluids, snacks & Lunch. There is no time to go and get anything and nothing is available on site.
- Appropriate Clothing for the Weather. We shoot Rain or Shine.
- Work Gloves

REFUNDS:

Refunds are available but only up until 14 days before the Match, less an Admin fee of $5.
Under no circumstances can any payments be transferred to a future match, or sold to someone else.
MATCH CANCELLATION BY MILITARY:
If Match is cancelled by the Military full refunds will be issued. This is not common and usually done well in advance due to CAF Range requirements.
It does not include being closed down for Fire reasons.
