Good timing. I am just about to list my pride and joy - a Blaser Tac2 in .338 LM. Here are the details:
Rifle: Blaser Tac2 in .338 Lapua Magnum
Optics: Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 Zero-stop .25 MOAR
Near MFG 34MM ALPHAMOUNT Scope Rings
Anti-cant device, Bi-pod
Sako TRG muzzle-break
And a photo link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cy4j2mnp6kd1b1w/Tac2 at range V3.jpg?dl=0
I have only put 100 rounds through the barrel. I hate to sell it, but need the $$$.
Let me know if you are interested.
I'm Looking to build or purchase a new percision long range rifle. I have a budget of $10000.00 excluding the optic. I currently use my PGW Coyote (.308) and PGW Timberwolf (.338LM) for shooting 1000+ yards. I'm thinking the new rifle should be chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. I have been looking at Barrett, Desert Tech and Cadex. Thoughts anyone...

Why not just rebarrel your Coyote? Damn fine set up and with a match barrel will shoot very nicely.
But if you want another rifle, figure out the tasks, what furniture appeals, build it.....
There are some really nicely made "tactical" type rigs... if that suits you, have fun.

I have built a rifle with a 10k budget before just not a prs. I suggest:
Surgeon or Defiance tactical action (maybe Badger). I like Defiance because everything is customized on your order, bolt face, fluting, right or left action with right or left port (yes you can mix them up) and bolt knob.
Krieger or Bartlein barrel. I am partial to single point cut barrels and both manufacturers are top of the line.
Terminator brake. I have lots of different brakes but Terminator is the best in my opinion.
Trigger Tech or Jewel trigger.
McMillian, Manners or for prs maybe a AICS, Cadex or Maybe a Masterpiece arms.
Bipod would be Atlas or maybe Cadex there are others I would try.
Scope rings I would pic spuhr one piece mount. If rings I like Nightforce but also like ATRS which I chose.
Scope would be a Nightforce ( I have a B.E.A.S.T. and love it) Smcidt and Bender or top pick would be a Tangent Theta (mostly because I have never seen one.)
I like Creedmoor but was more partial to the 6.5x47 Lapua but now that Creedmoor is available in small rifle primer I am more open to it. I like the 6mm option a little more also.
Pick a very reputable gunsmith like Insite Arms and you have a winner.
Do you have a picture? How long does it take to have one built?

OR if you really want to have something few others will have we can make it with a CFW barrel. And it will look like this 1 but in 6.5 CM if you prefer.

Have you considered a Remington 700 with gold plating?
Cadex Baby All the way.
By far the best I have ever owned. I got a Freedom Lite 300 win mag that shouts like .243. SWEET. Or get a Kracken from Cadex. Its multi-caliber so that may solve your dilemma. it actually comes in around 10K as well.

If i do not do custom build I will go Cadex. Looks like the same stock as my LRT-3
If you can find a Cadex dealer with a rifle in stock you will see and feel the workmanship. Good luck in your purchase!
