1000fps Pellet Rifle, which one do I buy guys??

I've had some fun with the Ruger, It's very accurate and has more kick the my .22 semi!! he he.

Search the net for some tuning tips.
With a little tweaking springers can become smoother to operate and more accurate.
JM sells springs and seals for most springers and is very good to deal with.KD

Holy chit man that is a serious air gas rifle, jesse. I better leave this thread it may end up costing me alot of money.

I second the Condor!I own one!Check out the talon airgun forum and you'll know why it's the only way to go when it comes to PCP's.Then you can say"welcome to the dark side".When you can have a choice of .177,.22,.25,.45,9mm. it makes quit a versatile airgun. You can even get barrels to shoot arrows!lol

I'd buy a Discovery by Crossman. It's a PCP 22 cal, 900 fps, single shot bolt action. Charged to 2,000 psi you get about 25 to 30 shots without the ugly springer recoil. At 30 M a hollow point goes right through 3/4 " Plywood and blows a hole out the back about the size of a dime.
Cnob :D

I just purchased a Stoger X10 from Al Flaherty's in Toronto. The price with scope was $169.00. Its rated at 1000 fps with lead and 1200 fps with alloy pellets. So far I am very pleased. Extremely powerful and accurate.
Rick in London.

I've had a RWS 34 for 12 years and it still shoots as good as it ever did. Great gun no regrets at all. Have no idea what it's actual ft/s is but it flattens big tree rats with one shot no problem.

Ummmm how come there's no mention of the Benjy Marauder,it has a shrouded barrel, and I think as much power as the Disco, and is way quieter than the Condor, although the Condor does have THAT LOOK ! just wondering....at $399 usd it seems like a nice rifle to me.

The Maurader is banned in Canada. It has a shrouded barrel. This makes it quieter and therefore "silenced". I agree it would make a nice addition to this list but we will have to wait for the "un-shrouded" version... don't hold your breath.

I like the Ruger Air Hawk, It's a 1000fps rifle. I thought about getting it after posting this thread, I happened to be a Meijier in michigan and checked it out, it was going for $99.00, Over here it has been going for around $169.00.

Great rifle, comes with a scope, it's a solid well crafted rifle and is accurate as all hell!!

...But you left it there because it needs to be registered to be imported here in Canada...

???

LIKE ADREAI SAYED THE DIANA MODEL EITHER BREAK BARREL OR SIDE LEVERS ARE GREAT AND ACCURATE. I HAVE A DIANA MODEL 54 SIDE COCKER IN 22 CAL THAT IS UNBELIEVABLY ACCURATE AND POWERFULL, THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE WEIGHT, SET UP WITH A COMPACT 4X SCPOE IT WEIGHS CLOSE TO 10 POUNDS:eek: BUT IT GIVES YOU ANADVATAGE OF STEADINESS. THIS NOT A WALK ABOUT GUN BUT A PRISITION MADE WEAPON THATS FUN TO SHOOT!!! AND THE PRICE IS UP THERE, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR DECISION, DALE IN T-BAY:ar15:

Recently I gout a Rugar Air Hawk from Bass Pro for my son. Fires at 1000fps, took a while to adjust the scope. Since I got it zeroed have no issues. Dropped a few squirrels well over 50yds away.

Picked up a Stoeger X50 down here in Montana the other day. Advantage camo stock version with a 3-9 on top. Claimed up to 1500fpd with alloys, 1200fps with standard lead. haven't got it zeroed yet...too damn cold. Still hits cans at 30 yards out of the box though...not bad for factory boresighting.
