Looking to see if there are any matches scheduled within one week of the Burns Lake 1000yd shoot. British Columbia and Alberta only.
A couple of us guys travel from Whitehorse YT to Burns Lake to shoot in the spring match {May} and wouldn't mind adding a few more miles and days to the trip.
Check your "Long Range" club schedules and add them to the list.:sniper:

I wouldn't mind some more info on the Burns Lake thing. I'd like to try a 1000 yd F class shoot. Is it organized, with proper targets?
 
I understand it does not have butts, plus it is an entire day's drive to get there. Chilliwack is far far closer to the majority (if not every one) of the shooters that compete in the Provincials
 
F Class at Burns lake

I can think of a guy who I'd love to have marking my target at Burns Lake for F Class. hehehehe

Maybe you and Norm and I should plan a trip for a bench rest match.
 
I seem to remember reading in the "Marksman" that the Yukon had a TR and F Class Prov's type thing. Don't they have a range with butts up there somewhere? Whitehorse rings a bell.

Burns Lake is about a 2.5 hr. drive west of Prince George. Here is a link to their web site http://tprg.ca/index.html the info on the 1000 yard br shoot is from last May. The next shoot will be the first weekend in May 2nd. & 3rd. 2009.
