100yrd wk180c groups + one mini14 group

100yrds, prone, front rest just ahead of the magazine, rear bag rest, scope is a fixed 5x with acss reticle.

Ammunition used is American Eagle Varmint & Predator 223 Rem, 50gr JHP - the 50rd box with the coyote on it. Looks like your regular 223 bulk AE, but loaded with a jhp. Case still has the primer crimped and sealed.

Rifle is a wk180c, with a sopmod-style buttstock. Otherwise factory conditioned early gen(magnetic bolt handle) rifle. Used 5/20 pmags and 10/30 ASC Pistol mags.

B27 Target note: internet says the X ring is about 55mmx78mm, or 2.17" x 3.07"

Aiming for the 7, poor choice for an aiming point opened this up even more I think

Those are respectable groups for mediocre ammo shot from a cheap barrel with a lower magnification optic.

I had my new to me WK out with an Elcan os4x on top. Got similar results with 62 gr surplus. I brought it with me in the truck on our way to find an elk and dropped a coyote at 150m. I am quite happy with the accuracy of these rifles.

Ya, I forgot about the trigger. Hands down the worst trigger I've ever used.

Just put a few more rounds down range with the 180c and the mini14(mostly trying to adjust the gas block)
I think I opened these groups up, but hey, not bad for shooting casually.
Still the 5x optic @ 100yrds, ect. ect.
Mini14 has a 2.5-10x Nikon Prostaff 5

Try Winchester white box 45 JHP through your mini. It shoots like a hot damn from mine. I was adjusting my irons (tech-sights) and printed a 2-3" group repeatedly at 100m. That's off a cheap rest with a pretty rapid pace.I was very impressed, almost thought of putting a scope back on it to see how much I could get out of it.
