8.9lbs not bad! I bet they could get it to 8 then with a light profile barrel and clamshell handguard :p
 
looks great..cant wait for my ODG......also what is the thread pitch on the barrel nut?

I plan on swapping out the handguard, stock and grip to hogue in ghilli green......and hogue sells 2 different thread pitches for their free float handguard adapters on the 308's (ar10's).....was wondering what the pitch on the nea102 is so i can order it now :)

I believe they said it was proprietary, but maybe they just meant the barrel nut and not the thread pitch. If that is true I want to change my handugard to a clamshell configuration at some point to lighten her up. I have no use for a fancy pants MLOK handguard.
