1022 Slam Fire?

Well I took out my SR22 today for the first time since it started snowing last fall. Had to sight in the scope so I figured a few hundred rounds were in order. Everything went well till midway through my third mag. For every pull of the trigger I was getting off two shots., one on the pull and one on the reset. This problem was intermittent, and did manage to get in a few mag refills in between these spurts of "slam fire".

Set up includes a timney drop in trigger set up, polished bolt with a power custom extractor with oem spring, oem charging handle with ruger spring.

Anything come to mind?

I figure I would inquire first before I start taking things apart. I never had this happen to me before so I want to know what I am looking for.
 
I've heard that this was happening with the first gen timney triggers.
Is yours the one with the whole housing and trigger guard?

I just got a full drop in and have not yet shot it so i am also interested in any input.
 
Ok i have the one with the trigger guard.

This is a problem with the first gen trigger guard assemblies as well.
