Has anybody tried 105 grain A-Max bullets through remington factory 9 1/4" twist 6mm? I want to try them but I'm worried about wasting 25$ if they won't stabilize.

Thanks guys

Brenden

Yes I have tried them, and they fly great in a 1:9.25 for me, with IMR 4831.
I was supprized the accuracy I was getting.

I only tried them after looking at a box that said for 1:9 twists, I normaly shot 100 grains and under.

I have had good results with the 105 in a 1:9.25. I think it is on the edge but at 3000 fps they made the trip to 1100yards with pretty good accuracy, around 1.5MOA at that range.

105 Amax indeed call for a 1:9 twist. I only ever had mixed results with them, but Amax's were used to set a 1000 yard 5-shot record group with a 6BR.

Get some 90 grain Berger Match BT's and put a smile on your face!
