Anyone seen any smaller shot sizes in 10ga steel 3.5" loads? I'm looking for #3 or #4. The smallest I can find is #2 and its crapcloud or heavy metal which is way to over priced

Unless something has changed in the past couple of years No. 2 steel was the smallest you could buy from remington, winchester or federal. You are going to have to start rolling your own as I had to. Take care

That sucks. Think maybe its time to have choke tubes put in my gun then. I have a flat and a half of BBs already and BB BBB and T shot are all I can find. Thanks for the reply

Understand, there maybe someone makes them but I just checked the above three again on their web pages and still nothing listed.
Choke tubes maybe also be a tough one in canada for 10ga. I know I had to send my last couple 28 and 16ga barrels to briley in the US to have them done since no one had the gear to do them up here. Would not suprise me the 10g will be the same. Take care

Thanks for the tip. I've heard epps did an ithaca 10. Not sure what type of chokes were used but ill call them and find out

Quite possible. I have never checked on any 10ga work in canada but know 16 and 28 are US bound for tube installations. No one I called said they could justify the tools and I understand that. Wonder if epps used colonial thin walls seems most of the 12ga I have here done had those installed with one set of carlson's but thin wall design also. Good luck on the 10 and let us know how you make out.

Ya thanks. My gun has a lot of metal at the muzzles. I can't see me using it for anything but waterfowl. Its. Death on turkeys but it weighs to damn much to carry all day. Thanks for replys. Ill figure something out cuz I have to keep this beast boomin

You have to love the 10ga. I still have my browning golds and an old sp-10 rem. Have you had the chokes opened up yet that may be a reasonable solution cost wise. Yours is a SXS is it not.
