10inch Colt "Commando"

Might seem like a dumb question but...

is it possible to buy these new from a dealer?

I am sure it will be big bucks, but I would love to find one in new condition.

Does bushmaster make a "LE Only/GOV" marked 10 inch model?


I am thinking about getting the RRA 10inch from questar but there is something to be said for the cool factor of alower reciever marked "LE Only etc"

U.S gov wont grant export permits for anything under 16" so unless they change thier minds the answer is NO

you would have to buy a longer barrel and get it cut down

How are companies getting in RRA 7-10 inch barrels then?

Cut the barrel? I would just buy a shorter upper reciever before cutting down a barrel...can you even cut a 16inch barrel to 10 on an AR and have the gas system work?
