Hi - I bought a stainless steel StormLake 10mm barrel for my G20 Gen4 with the intent of improving case head support at the feed ramp. To my surprise, the SS Stormlake barrel I received appears to have less support than the stock Glock barrel!! WTH! Any thoughts, folks? Is this an out-of-spec Stormlake barrel? I'm not sure what to do.

(Note the chamber diameter of the stock Glock bbl is 0.430" versus the Stormlake diameter of 0.425" which seems good, but the lack of support at the feed ramp makes me uncomfortable.)
Pic below of my G21 gen 4 barrels - Stormlake vs stock Glock - here the SS Stormlake barrel has MUCH better support at the feed ramp:

Any thoughts - return barrel, contact Stormlake, shoot it?
Thanks.

Unless you plan on using lead bullets I dont see the point of it. I'd go with a stock barrel and shoot plated or FMJ ammo.

The Glock 20 and 21 have notorious issue with case support. People replace those barrels to avoid the possible problems that arise from an unsupported chamber.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Appreciated. J

If you want more case support, you want a Bar-Sto barrel.
