Does the Glock 10mm, and .40S&W, still have the unsupported Case problems.... I was doing some searching on the internet warning about attempting to use reloads in .40S&W Glocks, I am purchasing a Glock 20, and was planning on do 10mm reloading, should I be worried? Has the 10mm had these problems. Need some help or direction here...

Thanx

this thread should be moved to the pistol section...

I never heard of a 10mm Glock KaBoom maybe because it's not as popular as the G22 (.40) not really sure, and yes they still have unsuported chambers. BTW with glocks it's not a good idea to use lead bullets.

You can get a nice aftermarket 6" .40 cal barrel (fully supported) for the G20 ... makes a great gun ... uses same magazines.

all glock are unsupported , but only in the 40and 10mm does this matter.
The glock was made for 9mm, and thats what it works best in.
as for shooting lead , its not a good idea but i have done it, just uses hard cast lead like wolf, not the soft stuff.
But eather way after a few 100rds you will be diging the lead out of the barrle.
