So I was doing some spring cleaning and found some 10mm ammo in the lockup that has been neglected. The bad thing is I don't currently own a pistol in that caliber.

Obviously I need to fill that, what do you suggest? A Delta Elite is on my maybe list, as is a 1006. I could go with a G20, but that almost seems too easy. Give me some options please!

I want to stick with an auto for this cal, so the 610 is out. As is the Sig, for personal reasons. I had a Delta Elite, awesome pistol. Thinking about another one like it, or the 1006 which looks goddam awesome but I have no experience with them.

Once this whole COVID-19 issue is done I’m hoping to get a P220 Legion in 10mm. I had a P226 Legion that I really liked but sold to get an original unfired West German P226. I’ve got no regrets about the sale but I’m looking for a 10mm companion to my Bren Ten that I can shoot more often.

I'm really thinking Delta Elite Or S&W 1006. Can't unthink them. Change my mind.

I’ve owned a few Delta Elite’s a G20, a bunch of 610’s and a 1066. I gotta be honest I wanted to love the 1066 and I tried very hard but in the end I couldn’t stand it and let it go for a loss. Worst trigger ever, heavy, thick, felt weird, not accurate (probably me cause I couldn’t master the trigger).

I still own a never sell Murray Charlton custom 610 and a Delta Gold Cup but if I was going to buy another 10mm it would be a Dan Wesson Razorback. After shooting my nephew’s I came to see why people love Dan Wesson 1911’s so much. It was tight, smooth cycling, reliable, had a great trigger and shot one hole groups at 12 yards. I didn’t get to spend a long time with it but would have loved to put it through it’s paces in a competition or a course. The other one that I wouldn’t mind trying is Dan Wesson’s Bruin in 10mm. I’m thinking it has gotta be a tack driver and the additional length/weight would really tame the recoil.

There are lots of good options these days. In addition to the ones you mentioned, the P220 deserves consideration. Tanfoglio Stock/Match/Elite/Hunter are popular options south of the border and if you like the CZ style. The 1006 is a classic with more collector appeal these days. I've always liked the 10mm 1911 longslide but a newer gen Colt Delta or Dan Wesson would be nice too. The Ruger SR1911 is good value.
