I love the look of the 20's, especially in carbines. If the mag ban were erased tomorrow, I would probably shoot with 20's most of the time.
I've had these for years, one is Colt, the other is a steel mag. I was told the steel one was Italian issue when I bought it, but it is completely unmarked and is probably USA Magazines or some other questionable aftermarket brand.

I believe that is a mis-statement.
They were originally approved for the LAR-15 pistol. And were recognized as the 'First' AR pistol Mag.
Now that other manufacturers make AR15 Pistols and they're are commonly available. The 10 round mags associated with those pistols are Legal.
Wolverine and other dealers would NOT be selling prohib. items.

I would have to agree with you there. I thought dealers were just selling the RRA's magazines.
Here's mine with the 10 rounder.
Remember we're only allowed the 10 rounders because their designed for the LAR-15 Pistol AR-15. Standard 10 rounders not labeled for the LAR-15 would still be prohib (unless pinned to 5)
I like my 30 round pmags because when I shoot prone I use the Magazine as a monopod. Can't do that with a 10 rounder.
It's still great to put 10 in and shoot away though.
