Looks like somebody's old skeet gun is my new old skeet gun

The extension on the magazine cap is not for extra shells, but is solid steel and is for weight to smooth out the swing. She's heavier than she looks so it should work great for casual skeet. I test fired it and it cycles fine, but the barrel to receiver fit is loose and the barrel can rotate a fair bit. I'll post a question on that over in gunsmithing. I only got the skeet tube for the cutts. Anyone got any out there they would like to part with?

She's not in pristine shape by any means, but I think I'm going to be happy with her. If not I'll let you know. Now all I need is for the cows to be done calving and the snow to melt so I can give her a REAL try out!

The first gun I ever shot was a single shot 410 at a hand thrown clays. I hit the first one and missed the second. It's been downhill ever since.

I have a Remington Model 11-48 Skeet Gun in 28 gauge.Nice shotgun.

I have one in 28ga in new condition -- I know where a there is a 410 -- have been mulling it over about buying it.
