11-87 in 3 1/2" mag opinions

Anybody shooting an 11-87 in 3 1/2"? If so, how does it handle 2 3/4" shells? Specifically, say cheapo winchester shells for hunting grouse?

Ugh, I can't imagine it. My 1100 doesn't take #2 "heavy game load" winchesters at all. But maybe they got past that with the 11-87. (I think I heard that somewhere) Why do you want a 3-1/2"? Turkeys? Geese go down fine with 3" IMHO
