It's been a while since I did a shotgun project, I've been thinking about this one for a little while.

The heat shield is just a proto type and will likely be replaced.

this is what it looks like so far. Yes it has a plug in it You'll recognize some of the products from S&J hardware

day 2 update,

I tried some LPA sights on for size but I wanted something tougher so I made up a military style front sight. It is adjustable for elevation by screwing in and out like a c6 or c9 sight. It also has threaded holes on the flats for attachments like picatinny rails for flashlights or expresso makers

Looks like the "Trench Gun" in Medal of Honour: Airborne.
The Bayonet is sooo BAD A**.

I think it's about ready for finishing. I'll sandblast the parts and park em or paint em. I think this one needs a traditional leather sling. otherwise I'm happy with it for now. I'll test the heat shield out and mod it if necessary.

ail are made and anodized, back clamp is just one of the bayonet mounts, the front is a modified bayo mount.
Just got to work out weather to make the mod to the mount or have a new one made.
The set will not be cheap but it will be tought as hell and some what light.
Rail is a true M1913 spec rail hard anodized mil spec TypeIII

It will get a rail from s&jhardware on the side for a flashlight as well, as seen above in Beeson's photo's.

This is a special purpose, 20" non restricted, this one is very reliable with any type of load. It takes all rem chokes.

police versions are available as well, but most are improperly classed "restricted" with 18.5" barrels.

I have modded this one with a choate stock and charging handle.

custom: heat shield, picatinny rail, bayonet mount, front site, oversize safety. Some of theses parts are available from s&jhardware.
