Today(Nov.05/08) was my last day to hunt, before i leave for gagetown for the next couple of weeks with work. My grandfather took a big doe opening morning, and from that same stand this nice buck was spooked from the marsh he was in and made his was up to the stand, where I met at 7:30am app. 80yrds through thick brush. I managed to have a small opening where i dropped the 11 pointer in his tracks. I havn't been more ecstatic, when i walked over and seen this beautiful buck laying there. Its was a perfect way to end a wonderful week with my family and friends at the camp. I couldn't have asked for a better ending than to share a moment like this with my grandfather, father and friend of the family.
