1100 stock interchange with an 11-87

looking for a stock for my cougar. I have heard some people say they are 11-87 clones and some people say its an 1100 clone...

Which one is it and are the 2 remington stocks interchangeable or no? which one will fit the cougar

The butt stock are 100% interchangable. but the forend is not.

I ordered a 11-87 stock set for my cougar, the shurshot stock fits perfectly (even with the sling plate) but the forend is not fit.
