...

I have a 2 chamber oil/solvent bottle with my sks. What oil and solvent do YOU carry in yours?

None... have no need to. Just use my regular gun cleaning kit that I use for all my rifles. If you want just use what you normally use for gun cleaning in it. Most have no use for them, they go into the closet and are forgotten.

I don't put anything in them, although I have a couple that are partially still filled with some oil. I just toss them in the drawer with the other stuff.

I have several bottles that have come with the rifles I've bought and a couple I just picked up on their own or with a cleaning kit. All but one are just kept in a box with all the cleaning kits from various red rifles and the one is filled with Hoppe's 9. Like the vodka idea too.

I actually know a fellow who does that. He's a chemistry instructor and says it safe to do so. I'm tempted.

huh, I'm sure some Russian has done this already

I'd get a lead test kit before adding liquor.

If they were bigger they would make great flasks, I don't need a two sip flask though.

agreed. That being said, a two sip flask is better than no sip.
Just think, you can freak out other red rifle owners when you take a swig from the oil bottle... LOL
