11mm cantilever scope mount?

Hello,

Would anyone know of a 3''-4'' offset cantilever scope mount, that would fit on a 11mm (3/8) rail?

Seems like the only think I can find are these

I'd rather have a one piece base that have to deal with a rail extension + rings

11mm and 3/8" have different claw angles; El-cheapo models claim to "fit" both, and are likely good enough for hobby-level airgun plinking. However, for more serious stuff, "one size fits all" mount will likely cause headaches.

If you are looking for a high-quality cantilever mount for 11mm dovetails, you may have to go to a European source. Send me a PM if that's what you are after.

I've seen some stuff used in FT that might work (Maestro Design in the UK makes some nice stuff).

But 1) they pretty darn high and 2) it will be close to $500 by the time it gets here... for that $$, I'll get an additional barrel sleeve from Steyr and have it drill/tap for a picatinny rail.

BKL makes an offset 11mm dovetail, but looking at mine it's only about 1.5".They may have more choices available.

I knew I had seen one on Ma-Si website earlier. It mounts on a standard 11mm dovetail, but it was designed for older model FWB700 pellet pellet guns, machined so that the optical center of the scope and the line of sight through the barrel meet at 10 meters (about 33feet.) It is installed with the extension facing towards the shooter. Depending on your application, it may not be your cup of tea. Here's some specs: OAL 161mm, mounting length 53mm, extension 128mm, weight 183grams with 1" rings, height from top of dovetail to optical center of the scope is 63mm. Cost with a pair of rings is 125.00 Euros plus 15.00 E. for shipping.

As you can see, it is not a "uni-mount;" at the same time, you gain flexibility in ring placement. Never had use for this type of mount, but all other mounts I've bought from this manufacturer are excellent.

Thanks, I'd seen a similar design made by a guy in Italy. The problem with the FWB mount is that they are quite high (to accommodate the loading port lever) and most (if not all) have a built it can't to give the FT shooters more elevation. But the can't would be backward for my need.

This is roughly where the scope would need to be.

While the gun will be used with peep-sights the vast majority of the time, I still would like to have the option to mount an optic to it.
Thinking of having a piece of picatinny rail drill/tap to the aluminum sleeve that cover the barrel.
