11mm Mauser Ammo

I got brass, dies, lead from Bullet Barn, regular items they stock....... I still have two boxes of old factory Dominion, enjoy shooting one 71/84 carbine + a 2 band. They both shoot great.

The reloading items are still available, if you get LUCKY at gun shows. I recently picked up a Lyman 446109 mold (340 grain flat nose bullet) last month, and last weekend, a Lyman 439186 mold (370 grain round nose bullet) at gun shows.

Since I have a stripped 71/84 Mauser, (no magazine tube and some internal parts missing, including the extractor, ) I modified the rifle so that I now have a two shot capacity, but the intention is a "fun" rifle for shooting. I also picked up a couple of boxes of .338 Winchester Magnum brass cheap. By machining the belt off the brass with the Taig lathe, I now have a semi-rimmed case, which has been fire formed in the Mauser and headspaces on the shoulder. An extractor with a slightly longer hook on it was made, and they work perfectly through MY modified 71/84.
