Anyone know where in Canada to source a 12-32 UNEF machine screw/bolt with a fully threaded shank and preferably a hex head.
Found a used UTG scope mount locally for my Norinco M-305, and the mounting screw/bolt it came with is a 10-32 UNEF thread, whereas the hole in the receiver wall is apparently for a 12-32 UNEF thread.
I only need one about 1/2" long, but will take whatever I can find as long as it's fully threaded.
Any leads would be much appreciated.

is it a side bolt for a UTG tri rail handguard?

if so message me I got you covered
I have 2 of them and am sure they can be adapted to whatever mount you have. if you need a picture let me know
no cost to you if you want one.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
The US military specs. apparently called for the scope side-mounting hole on M-1A etc. receivers to be drilled and tapped for a 12-32 UNEF thread for optics mounts. This was meant to provide a more secure system with the extra fine threads being less likely to loosen off due to vibration from firing, compared to coarser threads, as the receiver wall is so thin.
Armtac in BC carry Sadlak mounts and parts including a 12-32 UNEF mounting hex-head screw, so I'll swing by there next time I'm in BC.

I have gone through this, you will not find that at fastenall or any of the other larger machine screw sellers

Agreed. I ordered mine direct from Troy due to using the Troy M14 MCS Chassis. All in was about a $40 part. At least I'm pretty sure that's the route I went. Tried for months to find that hex screw to no avail.
