Prices are climbing across the board. Tanking dollar and all.
Got mine at $200 a few years ago, still have it, still love it. At $350, I'd it's still a decent price for a fairly solid gun, especially given the market today. Fun to tinker with and "make your own."
The one "must mod" thing about them, though, is actually the front bead. With the height of the receiver and the taper of the barrel, you end up with a Point of Impact a couple of feet high at 15 yards (ish).
On mine, I solved this with an XS Sights Plain Barrel Big Dot Tritium front bead, which was tall enough to solve the POA.POI issues, but at the same time remains low key and low profile enough that it doesn't "stand out" looks wise.

If I was doing it today, though, I would probably go with one of the Sinsinati guns from Corwin-Arms. I buy a ton of stuff off Martin, because he's great to deal with, and stands behind what he sells with no hassles.
For $374 + tx +shp, you can get one of the Sinsinati shotguns with all the fixins: 12.5" bbl (with a proper height front bead), 26" bbl, both threaded for chokes (each barrel comes with a choke installed, and package comes with 2 spare chokes), a 6" barrel extension for the short barrel so you can make it an 18.5" bbl, a +2 mag extension....
Jeebus, I'm just looking at that now... FACK! I already have one of his Lever shotguns on the way, how can I justify this to my wife... Dang, that's a smoking deal...
Black and Wood or Nickle/Chrome (not sure) and synthetic furniture.

Excuse me... I have to go beat my head against the wall for a bit, because I can't even a little afford this gun at the moment.
