12.5" grizzly owners

Owners of 12.5's, I have a question regarding collapsable stocks.
What stock are you running on yours, and what's the OAL with the stock collapsed?

Telescopic collapsing or side/top folding collapsing?

Either. Preferably telescoping (6-position, etc)

There are very few folders that will be over 26" when collapsed , and the 6 position ones get as short as 29-30".

Not all. There is at least one... But it's a rather goofy affair and I'd rather have a normal butt stock.

I went with a Hogue 12" LOP stock.

Way more grippy than the factory stock feels way better,even tried the M4 style stocks but they just felt ackward compared the Hogue can't imagine anything else matching the robustness of the Grizzly tough build.

Anyone put an ATI Talon stock on a 12.5" barrel? I am planning to do this and just curious what the OAL comes in at with the shortest setting on the stock. Just has to be >than 26" OAL to stay non-restricted correct? I get all my parts (minus the stock) at the end of the week and I can't wait. Looking at pictures of them will have to hold me over until then.

I recently put a Mesa Urbino on one of my Grizzlies. Still on the fence about it, I may explore other options haven't decided yet. Need another range day with it first.

We have been using the Kicklite recoil reducing stocks, they reduce recoil & lighten the gun up, 29" OAL.

Yeah the Chinese plastic furniture is the big weight contributer here. Replace them and the gun only gets better.

Juster is correct here. I just saw pics of a 12.5 with a knoxx over folder with a tape measure under it probably 26.5, perfectly NR

They sure work well at reducing the recoil, especially with 3" slugs! They drop the weight a lot as well.....

They look like regular short length Remington Express forends with rails screwed on.
