12.5 Grizzly question

seems like a ridiculous amount of trouble to go to to avoid sanding a forend.

Surefire forends are overrated anyways. buy a Fab Defense forend that you dont mind sanding for $60 off Ebay (or a clone for $30), and pick up a quick-release light mount.

Some grizzly's may be slightly different but parts from an 870 interchange with my grizzly 12.5". The barrel, bolt, bolt assembly, and trigger group from the grizz worked just fine in the rem 870 reciever and vice versa. The barrel lined up perfectly and everything cycled and fired A ok. Maybe some DA Grizzly's are different then others but the 12.5 tube GRS version with removeable choke interchanged with no problems.

I think you're right about Grizzlies being different Beaner. My Grizzly is cylinder bore so it has no choke. Some are interchangeable while others are slightly off.
