please ignore the diffrence in stock

which one fits me better?

chickens up close are about the best a short little barrel like that will be good for, the 12.5 come threaded for choke tubes that can help but its just not going to beat a field gun. For fun at the range anything will work, pick the one you like best

Thanks for the inputs.

what choke is the Norinco HP9?

a Cylinder? ( I guess from Harry Potter's post)

or it can be changed to a full choked ? (guessed from supernova's post)

12.5 and 14" are both fixed cylinder chokes. If you don't want the ATI stock you can get the plain gun in 12.5" as well.

thanks, chemist,
the pictures are from your website :)

Can you tell me what is meaning of "the 12.5 come threaded for choke tubes" ?
I know it is "supernova" who said it, but since you are the owner selling these....

thanks

Are there any inherent benefits to either length over the other? For example, is it easier to mount a flashlight under the 14" than the 12.5"?

Does the more compact 12.5" barrel length result in a noticeably louder report from the muzzle?

Can someone familiar with both barrel lengths chime in with their valued opinions, as I am also debating which barrel length to purchase. :)

Thank you. :)

Just a note, the fore grip goes right to the front on the 12.5", so you wont be able to mount any sort of a normal sized flashlight without it sticking past the front.
My only complaint with my 12.5" grizzly, but I knew that it would be an issue when buying it.

I own 1 of each.
My personal preference is the 14" version.
The reasons are as follows:
a) The gun looks "right" with a 14" barrel while the 12.5 looks like somebody forgot something up front.
b) The 14" will take a 1 round extension which gives you 5 in the tube.
c) I don't find that much difference swinging a 12.5" barrel vs. a 14" barrel.
d) The 1.5" difference in length isn't really noticeable.
e) I am looking at adding ghost rings the shotgun - I can hit fairly accurate with the 14" compared to the 12.5". Granted they are different guns but the extra inch and a half makes a difference (for me anyways).
f) Alternatively, buy the 14 and then get a 12.5" barrel to create your own version of a combo gun.

i have an 18" cylin and it is useless for bird hunting. If you are serious about that, i suggets you look at someting with a tighter choke.

Or a longer barrel with interchangeable Chokes. For Bird hunting longer barrels just plain swing better.

it looks silly with a full stock...I have plans to get something similiar with a Knoxx breachers kit.
