I have a 12.5 inches barrel Grizzly on order and I am planning on adding a Knoxx folding stock, since it is the only one that keeps the shotgun unrestricted.

Here are the questions :)

Is it possible to remove the shoulder stock part and keep only the grip?

Too bad that the Breachers Grip is not as long :(

And a last question.......someone in Canada has the Knoxx folding stock in stock? (Can't find any) :(

If it can be folded, it can be removed at the hinge. Whether it can be easily removed is a different story. Are you sure about your dimensions? The stock would need to be approx. 6" long in it's folded state to qualify as non restricted on a 12 1/2" barrel, and just looking at the picture I'm not seeing it. I may be wrong, but I would check it out before you run out and buy one. My 14" with a Raptor pistol grip and a sling plate comes in at 26 1/4", so I think you will be touch and go

I don't see why you couldn't cut it off and remove it permanently. It's a pretty useless stock so removing the wire is probably an improvement.
I can't remember it being long enough for a 12.5", 14" no problem.

Wonder if sling attachments and ext chokes are taken into account for the measurement on shotguns?
Where flash hiders and shrouds are not taken into consideration with barrel lengths for rifles.

Yes, thinks like sling loops and chokes would factor into OAL. OAL and barrel length are apples and oranges.

I know you got sick of arguing the OAL of yours on here.....but what would you have in mind in attaching to the loop? :)

Thanks everyone for the comments!
You could put a nut and bolt through the loophole and solder/weld the nut on. Or drill a hole through an aluminium block and pin it through the loophole. And paint it up to look natural :). It shouldn't come off without a hammer or a grinder.

What difference it would make compared to a muzzle brake added?

From what I know, if I would have to deal with a law enforcement officer, I could still get the shotgun confiscated and have to go thought the courts.

Juster...... I know you are convinced yours at 26 inches is legit, but you do not fear of having to go through all the problems and hoops if you would have to deal with an ''uneducated'' LEO?

Shotguns with no stock are the most useless things on the planet. Adding a sling doesn't add to the length. Doubt the swivel button does either.
Blackhawk shows Quebec and other Provinces on their dealer locator, but it doesn't show and dealers. Suspect their site isn't working properly. Contact 'em and ask.
