12(6) License Questions......

Some say yes, some say no, and that is as good an answer as you will get on this forum. I doubt even the cfc knows until they actually have to deal with it, but it is highly unlikely. Most likely it will still be a Rpal with a 12/6 possession only condition attached

I had 12.3 and 12.6 listed on my RPAL under the possession only side for years. Still bought 12.3 and 12.6 without an issue. Eventually I called them and they put it on both sides of my RPAL.

I had a POL with a 12.6 listing. I took the RPAL course in the spring of 2015 and when the new licence was issued the 12.6 showed up on both the Possession and Acquisition side. Hope this helps.

Had 12.6 on my POL, took the Rpal course in 2011, new RPAL came with no 12.6, called firearms office, basically told me nothing they can do, kept all my old paperwork and POL license in case #### ever hits the fan.

Call them back and tell them to #### off and put the 12.6 on your PAL. They tryed that on me, said you never used it so you lost it. I told them bull ####, then he went on abut policy, I told him to screw policy the law states I have the right to it. I now have a RPAL with my 12.6 on both sides.

THIS!!!! unless you allowed your POL to lapse you are still a 12.6 holder.
