12(6) question

I was under the impression a 12(6) could not be sold. Or can it be sold to someone with 12(6) on their licence?
Which is it?

12.6 pistols can be sold to a RPAL holder with a 12.6. Totally transferable between people with the same licences

And talk to your MP and make him/her find out and get back to you about why these pistols/revolvers are 12(6) in the first place!!
