Hi all you blessed by the smiling (insert you god here, I like the Budda, he's got less expectations of me) that have a 12(6) on your card.
I wanted to discuss the idea of having a sub section or sticky where we can help each other refine our collections. Over time we all stumble onto these deals that are too good to pass on and end up with a dogs breakfast in the safe. My current situation forced me to do a purge, but I intend to bounce back and with a new focus. I think this web site gives us an oppertunity to refine our interests and collections. Also since we'er all going to check out one day we can perhaps make arrangements to have our prized possesions placed in the hands of someone who will appreciate them (with my occupation odds are I'll beat many of you to that great gun room in the sky).
I'm sure the EE will spring to mind as a way to do this but lets face it, Pistols/Revolvers has the most traffic and trying to track something down can be difficult. What your looking for might be half way down page 6 but the add doesn't have a key word your searching for. If that's the case good luck...
If you don't like bumping such a foucused topic PM me just so I can get an idea of the interest and present some kind of idea to the mods...speaking of the mods, I'll baby sit any thread or whatever comes of this, if anything.
