12" barrel for a Remington 870?

Hi guys, I have been searching through the forums for the last hour and i couldn't find any posts that suggest where a good place to get a 12" barrel for is. I know Dominion arms and Dlask sells them? but is one better then another? I remember reading months ago about some one who had one that was all crooked in the barrel?

As well im fairly new to the world of building shot guns but right now i have an 870 with a mesa tactical adapter, Magpul stock and pistol grip. Seems like the usual set up around here ;) I currently have a +3 extension on it and an 18.5 barrel on it. So will a 12" barrel fit right on with out any problems and i would guess i need a new mag spring and follower as well as a magazine cap??

Im sorry if this has been discussed before, Im going to keep looking for the answers but any help would be great.

I didn't like the fit of any of the Chinese barrels that I've tried on several different Remington 870's but I'm pretty fussy. They will function.
I've posted pictures in the past showing the indexing issues but others seem not to notice.

If you want a shorty I'd say just get the whole package from China or go with the more expensive dlask option, though it sounds like they are a bit over sized or at least were in the past as some people reported having to remove material from their foreends to fit the fat barrel.
 
The Dlask ones are $300 or more, and they are very heavy, although that's a good thing if you want to install choke tubes. I have 870's in 18, 14 and 12. I find the 14 is my favorite. It just feels right, and with the classic wood stocks and teflon coated looks fabulous.
 
i bought a 12.5" dominion arms barrel for my 870 from canadaammo. it fits fine and has taken all loads i've put through it without problem (2 3/4 target loads all the way through 3" 000 buck and 3" slugs).

it was $150.
 
Thanks for the responses guys, I think i am leaning towards the Dominion Arms Barrel at the time being. Or the 12.5 Grizzly since its almsot the same cost as a Dlask barrel. Is there any specific spring that one would need? and its just a magazine cap as well??
 
Hey Punisher the Stock adapter is a Mesa Tactical stock adapter, with a Magpul Collapsable stock on a mil spec buffer tube. Very sturdy and i found it such a joy to shoot with, a lot better then the spec ops recoil reducing stock i had before that just seemed to beat the crap out of my face, unable to hold a cheek weld on it.
