Hi CGNers! I need help from CGG (Canadian Gun Gurus)
My father in law and me are looking for information about this old 12 GA bolt action shotgun "made in germany". This gun came out of an old attic and
we don't know much about it except that the stock is in bad shape but the metal works great.
What surprised me the most is the total length (36 inches with the receiver) and the lightweight. Incredibly light!
Specifically, we have four questions:
- Where was it made and for what purpose?
- Why it is written "Made in germany" instead of "hergestellt in Deutschland". Why in english?
- Is possible to find a stock replacement? Or is it maybe easier to repair it?
- What year was it probably made?
Thanks!
