Oh I touched a sore spot sorry but you asked for it
LOL Well considering my dad owned a gun shop and repaired them in the 60's and 70's do you think I should have to answer that plus what does that have to do with knowing and shooting 1100's . We never fired any behind the counter

Man some of us don't age well it seems. My knowledge on modern handguns, rifles etc lacks for sure today since I have not kept up with it but my love for shotguns runs deep and still does
Lets see in the shop was not a job in my house growing up it was every free minute you had if you wanted to eat and have a dry bed not to mention at that age I loved it. I can still hear that dam door bell clanging
He started me on shotguns around 8 and I reloaded my first Imperial paper round at the same time on the old gear I call it and haven't stopped, In fact sold some of it as shown to a member here who was looking for some since I rarely use this type any more you won't find that at cabelas

AA and my first MEC was not much after. LOL so been around AA and 1100's a long time. My home was not a normal canadian household . My dad was a yank so you paid NRA before you paid the church and if you didnot there was no hunting and shooting for you. Sure wish some of that old american logic would spread in canada we sure need it
So can I pull the trigger on my single shot 1100 on your toe or not LOL by the counter is fine if that is where you are comfortable
Here is two of my favorite 1100's I own and I have two sets of these. This one has the better wood and the 410 is unfired A matched set of 1100 410/28ga skeet. The other set is shot to death and still going
Cheers
