12 ga. reloading

Well I'm flying to Calgary to visit my daughter for a week. I am going to take an extra suitcase to bring back some 12 ga. wads because shipping is really bad and the extra suitcase is free...
Can anyone tell me what color wads to use for regular lead shot and slugs? I read somewhere a long time ago that I could use the same ones for both.

My understanding is that shotgun reloading is much more picky as far as using the exact components listed in the load data. Best to look up some load recipies for which hulls and primers you plan to use and see if any wads match up for lead shot and slugs.

Regardless of the free shipping in the suit case. I find it still cheaper to buy my wads from some of the large suppliers like hummason or Lawry's in Ontario even with paying the shipping to down east.
The key for me is to make sure I fill the box and get at least 5000 at a time. This makes the shipping almost a non factor
