12 gage slugs

with the slugs in question I can shoot a 2" group at 220 yards all day long. I would be interested in your load data for your lee slugs I have yet to get a decent grouping with them at 100 yards from my smooth bore barrel.

I don't give my worked up data out as it may be safe in my gun but not in yours. but I will tell you I am not driving them too fast my start load is a lowest 1oz shot data for my given hull/powder/wad/primer and worked up till I can get it within a 4" target at 100 yards from the bench. these are probably in between 1300fps and 1400fps not your typical modern slug but a 1oz .69cal projectile don't need to be going 1600+ fps to get the job done(sometimes moving them to fast will make them penetrate less as they tend to expand more/faster)

what ever the data call for I mostly look for data with Winchester red wads and I use a claybuster replacement for it
