Thanks everyone for the advice, I put my turkey barrel on the mossy and am going to take it out for a round of skeet this weekend and see what I can do with it. I'm also heading to the hunting shop for some advice on what ammo is available around here, although I've hear that Remmy has a new 1700fps steel load out... really cuts down the lead and might help out if I use the short 18" barrel on the Marine Magnum... My favourite pheasant gun was a side by side, good quality Spanish 20 guage. However, more important than the gun is a good dog. We had 12 glorious years with our springer spaniel and when he died, I never went pheasant hunting again.

No worries about the dog here, my buddy that wants me to shoot for him this year just recieved a "CKC master hunter" German shorthair pointer (I think) and I have my Blue Heeler that just goes to town flushing anything for me, now if I could get my Heeler to retrieve she'd be perfect... but she is only seven months old and working on it..
