Excellent choice if budget is not a foremost constraint. Another equally excellent option would be the Benelli SBE II or M2.

If your on a tighter budget look at the Mossberg 935, if money is not really an issue id go for the rem SP-10 or Benelli SBE ll

I have an SBE. I harldy ever need to shoot 3.5 inch through it though. The Stoeger 2000 is about half the price, has the same inertia system and still takes 3 inch.

I will buy another SBE when this one breaks. I has been the best shotgun I've ever owned.
